ABC Steel Products Co., Inc., doing business as ABC Doors ("ABC Doors," "we," "us," or "our"), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you:
This policy does not cover information about our employees or job applicants, or information about individuals acting on behalf of a business, which we handle under separate practices.
By using the Site, contacting us, or giving us your information, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy and agree to the collection, use, and sharing of your information as described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or submit information to us.
We do not process full payment card numbers on the Site; payments are handled by our payment processor. We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data as defined by Texas law, such as racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, health diagnoses, sexual orientation, citizenship or immigration status, genetic or biometric data, precise geolocation, or data from a known child. Please do not send it to us.
Your responsibilities. You agree to give us accurate information. If you give us information about another person, such as a tenant, property owner, or family member, you confirm that you have their permission to do so.
We use personal information to:
We may also create de-identified or aggregated information that cannot reasonably be linked to you and use it for any lawful purpose. We will not attempt to re-identify it.
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not sell sensitive personal data or biometric data. Sharing device and usage data with advertising partners may count as "targeted advertising" under Texas law; Section 5 explains this and how to opt out.
We share personal information with the following categories of third parties:
We may also share information with your consent or at your direction.
The Site uses cookies, pixels, and similar tools to make the Site work, remember your preferences, understand how visitors use the Site, and measure our advertising. These may include tools such as Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing.
Targeted advertising. We may use these tools to show you ads for ABC Doors on other websites and apps based on your visits to our Site. Under Texas law this may be considered "targeted advertising," and you may opt out.
The Site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, because there is no common industry standard for them.
Service messages. When you give us your phone number or email address, you agree that we may contact you at that number or address about your request or job, including estimates, scheduling, arrival notices, invoices, warranty matters, and review requests.
Marketing messages. We send marketing calls or text messages only to people who have given us prior express written consent, for example by checking a consent box on a form. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Opting out. Reply STOP to any text message to stop texts from us, or HELP for help. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any marketing email, or call or email us to opt out. After you opt out, we may still send messages needed to complete a job you requested. We do not share or sell mobile phone numbers or text message consent with third parties for their own marketing.
Call recording. Calls with ABC Doors may be recorded or monitored for quality, training, and record-keeping. By continuing a call with us, you consent to this. If you do not want your call recorded, tell our representative.

How to make a request. Email service@abcdoors.com or call 713-729-9700. We must verify your identity before acting on a request and may ask for information to do so. An authorized agent may submit an opt-out request on your behalf with proof of authority.
Our response. We will respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we may extend this once by up to 45 additional days and will tell you why within the first 45 days. Requests are free up to twice a year. We may charge a reasonable fee for, or decline, requests that are unfounded, excessive, or repetitive.
Limits. We may keep information, or decline a request, where the law allows, for example to complete a job, honor a warranty, keep tax and business records, collect amounts owed, prevent fraud, defend legal claims, or comply with law.
Appeals. If we decline your request, you may appeal by emailing service@abcdoors.com with "Privacy Appeal" in the subject line within a reasonable time after our decision. We will respond in writing within 60 days. If we deny your appeal, you may contact the Texas Attorney General at texasattorneygeneral.gov or by calling 800-621-0508.
Security. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we hold. However, no website, internet transmission, or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of any information. You provide information at your own risk. Please do not send payment card numbers or other sensitive information to us by email or text.
Breach notification. If we learn of a security breach involving your personal information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by Texas and federal law.
Retention. We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, including to complete jobs, honor warranties on doors and openers, keep tax and business records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

Third-party sites and services. The Site may link to or include content from third parties, such as manufacturers, review sites, maps, financing providers, and social media. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, security, or content of those third parties. Their own privacy policies govern your use of their services.
Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ABC Doors and its owners, officers, employees, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to this policy, the Site, or any unauthorized access to or use of information, including information held by third parties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from this policy or the Site will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100). Nothing in this policy limits any right you have that cannot be limited under applicable law.
No contract or third-party rights. This policy is a statement of our practices. It does not create any contractual rights, and it does not create rights for any third party.
Governing law and venue. This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Texas and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from this policy will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Changes to this policy. We may update this policy at any time. We will post the updated policy on the Site and change the "Last Updated" date. If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice, such as a notice on the Site. Your continued use of the Site or our services after the update means you accept the updated policy.
